Stillman Valley Design Training
425 Fab Division was invited to Stillman Valley High School to help design their new welder carts. They currently have (4) ESAB Mig welders with no carts to hold them. Tyler Thomason ( Stillman Alumni ) and Ryan Letzter from 425 brought in a laptop with the newest version of Solid Works CAD modeling software to help design a great looking cart on site.
With input from the students and faculty, together we designed a really cool looking cart that has a sophisticated design and a reasonable cost point. With a purchase order from the school for material only, we are acquiring the material and having it water jetted per the design.
We are supplying weld callout and assembly prints to the school just as if these carts were being built in our facility
After these carts are built and assembled, 425 Fab Division will bring them back to our paint booth, prime and paint them with Stillman Valley Cardinal Red.
The students will see the carts thru from beginning to end of the process. ( More pictures and updates to come ).
